Services Built Around Practical Installation And Programme Certainty

From small domestic jobs to small commercial work, we provide focused piling and groundworks support with a clear path to delivery.

We support residential extensions, structural remediation and small commercial foundation projects with practical piling installation strategies, engineer coordination and fast-track budgeting support.

Mini Piling

Bottom-driven piling for extensions, restricted access plots and specialist foundation requirements.

  • 150–300mm piles
  • Grundomat systems
  • Drop hammer rigs
  • 50–500kN loads
  • Restricted access
Start Mini Piling Estimate

What Is It?

Mini piling is a specialist foundation solution used where traditional excavation is unsuitable due to restricted access, poor ground conditions, nearby structures or structural loading requirements. It is commonly used for residential extensions, structural strengthening, subsidence repair and constrained urban projects where installation space is limited.

What We Offer

Rapid Piling & Groundworks install 150mm to 300mm diameter bottom-driven piles using both percussive Grundomat systems and drop hammer piling rigs depending on project access, ground conditions and structural requirements. Our piling systems are suitable for residential and small commercial applications carrying approximate working loads from 50kN up to 500kN depending on pile diameter, depth, founding strata and engineer specification.

Design Coordination

Fast-track planning support that bridges the gap between site reality and structural design.

Try Fast-Track Layout Tool

What Is It?

Successful piling projects rely on early coordination between the client, contractor and structural engineer before installation begins. Poor communication and reactive design changes are one of the biggest causes of delays, redesign costs and programme disruption.

What We Offer

Rapid Piling has developed a fast-track pre-piling planning and layout system designed to simplify early-stage project coordination. Our instant layout calculator creates a practical starting point for design intent, beam arrangement and piling strategy, helping bridge the gap between contractor and independent structural engineer.

Ground Beams

Reinforced concrete beam packages coordinated around pile layouts and engineer specifications.

Estimate Ground Beam Scope

What Is It?

Ground beams are reinforced concrete beams used to transfer structural loads between piles and supporting foundations. They form the structural link between the piling system and the building above.

What We Offer

We install reinforced concrete ground beam systems coordinated around engineer specifications, site access requirements and construction sequencing. Our team regularly delivers beam packages for residential extensions, new build plots, underpinning schemes, restricted access projects and phased construction works.

Underpinning

Foundation strengthening support for existing structures, alterations and increased loading.

Request Underpinning Support

What Is It?

Underpinning is used to strengthen or stabilise existing foundations where movement, structural alteration or increased loading requires additional support.

What We Offer

We provide practical underpinning support for residential and small commercial structures using coordinated excavation, piling and reinforced concrete installation methods. Projects are planned carefully around structural sequencing, temporary stability and safe installation procedures.

Restricted Access Solutions

Practical piling strategies for rear gardens, tight plots and constrained urban sites.

Discuss Site Access Options

What Is It?

Restricted access piling is required where conventional piling rigs cannot be used due to tight plots, rear gardens, neighbouring structures or limited access routes.

What We Offer

We plan and coordinate practical piling solutions for constrained sites using compact equipment, staged installation methods and logistics planning tailored to difficult access environments. This allows piling works to proceed in locations where larger conventional equipment would not be viable.
